Using Dynamic Web TWAIN in Borland Delphi

Before opening the accompanied sample applications written in Delphi, please import the Dynamic Web TWAIN into Delphi first. The sample applications are installed with Dynamic Web TWAIN and can be found from the Start Menu.

The following shows the steps of  using Dynamic Web TWAIN in Borland Delphi 5. For other versions of Delphi, the steps should be similar.

  1. Start Delphi 5.
  2. On the Component menu, click Import ActiveX Control to display the  Import ActiveX dialog box.
  3. In the list box of Import ActiveX dialog box, select Dynamic Web TWAIN. Click Install.
  4. In the Install dialog box, click OK.
  5. In the Confirm dialog box, click Yes.
  6. In the Information dialog box, click OK.
  7. The Dynamic Web TWAIN is added to Delphi Toolbox, as seen in the following figure.
  8. From this point on, you can use Dynamic Web TWAIN in the same way as any other controls in Delphi.
